Requiem Mass was celebrated at the funeral services for Mrs. ERNEST BURKE Wednesday morning at the St. Joseph Catholic church in Wiota at 10 a.m. The Rev. M. J. O’CONNOR was in charge of the services and was assisted by the Rev. QUENTIN of the St. Gabriel’s Monastery in Des Moines.

The music was furnished by Miss ANNA MCGARTH and Mrs. MAYME ZURCH of Atlantic and Mrs. J. F. SCHAFER of Harlan. Mrs. H. C. FAULKNER and Miss MARIE TIERNEY were in charge of the floral offerings.

Casket bearers were H. C. FAULKNER, WM. CRAWFORD, JOE VETTER, Sr., ERIC OSEN, DAN TIERNEY and EVERETT BAYLOR of Exira. Burial was in the Catholic cemetery in Atlantic.

Out of town relatives and friends attending the funeral services of Mrs. Burke included Rev. MOOLER, S. J. Creighton University, Omaha, Nebr.; Miss MARIE BAUMERSTER, and Mrs. ANNA NAYLAN, Omaha; Mr. and Mrs. EDSCHOLL, Harlan; Mr. and Mrs. GEO. GROSS, Walnut; Miss SMITH, ED MCNIERNEY, Atlantic; Mr. and Mrs. GEO. BANER, Mr. and Mrs. EVERETT BAYLOR, Exira; Mr. NELS BRUE, Mrs. PETE KJALDGAND, Irwin; EARL PAULEY, Oakland; FRANK NELSON from the Rath Packing Plant, Waterloo; JOHN BENEIT, Atlantic; Mrs. RUTH KOPP,Casey.
