Pretty Wedding ceremony of Two Estimable Young People on Wednesday—Go to South Dakota.
At 3:30 Wednesday afternoon at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Lamb, about four miles northeast of the city, occurred the wedding of Miss Della Lamb to Grant M. Triplett, the Rev. G. M. Hughes of the M. E. church officiating. The ring service was used.
About twenty-five guests were assembled to witness the ceremony. The bride and groom were unattened [unattended] at the wedding altar. The bride was beautifully gowned in white and looked the picture of womanliness as she took her side by the man of her choice and the words were pronounced which made them man and wife. After the ceremony a bountiful wedding supper was served. The happy couple were the recipients of many beautiful and useful presents.
The bride is a young lady who for a number of years has been employed as a teacher in the schools of ths [this] city, and who has friends by the score. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Triplett of Brighton township and is a young man of sterling character. He is engaged in the drug business at Vermillion, S. D., for which place he and his bride left Wednesday evening. The out of town guests were Mrs. Joseph Wert and daughter of Van Wert, Ohio, and Mrs. David Hutchinson and daughter of Shelby, Ohio.
The best wishes of a host of friends go with Mr. and Mrs. Triplett to their new home. The Democrat joins in wishing them happiness in unstinted measure.
