NUGENT, WHELAN

NUGENT, WHELAN

Elizabeth NUGENT and John WHELAN had a son John, born about 1867 in Muscatine Co., Iowa. In 1875, the family moved to Grinnell. In the 1880 census, the family was in Jasper Co., Iowa. I believe I have found Elizabeth and John buried in Marshall county but John does not appear to be there. I did find a John WHELAN, 1867-1943 buried in Westlawn Cemetery, Glidden, Carroll Co., Iowa. With him are E. Pearl WHELAN 1881-1945 and Irene 1902-1987. Could this have been the John WHELAN I'm searching for?

Any inforamtion will be greatly appreciated. If there are any descendants of John WHELAN out there, I would love to hear from you.
