I just happened to be doing some research on my ancestors and saw this, and Robert Kelly's response. My great great grandfather was John William Guthrie, Patrick M.'s son and Thomas F. Guthrie's brother. John W. went to Notre Dame. I have two pictures of John W. if you'd like copies, one when he was young and one when he was older. There's a rather poignant family story involving him, which is that he left his wife and five children in Indiana and moved to Alliance, NE. Not a lot of info on why, and I can't say his children were overly fond of him as a result. So we have very little information on the Guthrie side. I'd appreciate any information you may have about Patrick M. and his wife, Emma Maher Guthrie and their children.
