I have gathered quite a lot of information for this family. J.A. met his wife, while she was a servant for his sister and brother-in-law, Rebecca and Cyrus Mark. Mark and Strohm was just one of the Dry Good Stores there. Cousins, the Light Brothers were also in the dry good's business. J.A. Strohm and his children, including Abner, owned and worked in their store for 20 plus years.
All but Abner, are buried in the Carroll Cemetery in town.
