Hello

Abner Strohm was my grandfather. He owned a general store in Carroll, IA. He was married to Lydia Strohm who had two children, John Abner (my father) and Margaret (my aunt). Abner and Lydian left Iowa for California, and later settled in Boulder, CO.

I might have a photo of the store somewhere. I visited Abner's childhood home as a child: my granfather's two sisters and brother lived there until their deaths.

I would love to learn what you know about the Strohm's as my dad passed away years ago without our knowing much about his family.
