Hi Christopher,

It might help to talk with your grandpa about his parents and his grand parents. If your grandpa has any brothers or sisters, you might talk with them about relatives. Does anyone have an older family Bible? Sometimes information was written inside. Maybe a church that your family attended may have marriage, baptism, birth, and death records or they may help by knowing someone who does know. Then there is posting a querie on a state or county website to ask for help. Posting queries on websites is how I got started, after asking a relative for some information. I will have to do some checking in my information for your Bill Neu. Could his name have been William Neu and everybody called him "Bill"? I have relative with the name William and everybody called him "Bill". I will see what I can find out on my end and get back to later.
