Manning – Harry Musfeldt, 62, of Manning died unexpectedly at his home Monday evening.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Zion Lutheran Church, Manning with Rev. Edward F. Heinicke officiating. Interment will be in the Manning Cemetery under the direction of the Ohde Funeral Home, Manning.

Friends may call at the Ohde Funeral Home, Manning, after 2 p.m. Wednesday.

Mr. Musfeldt, son of Fred and Emma Ruge Musfeldt, was born on May 17, 1915 in Iowa Township, Crawford County, Iowa. He attended rural schools near his home. He graduated from Manning High School in 1932. His marriage to Dorothea Schrum took place on Sept. 7, 1944. They have farmed on the place of his birth since that time. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Manning, where he has served as chairman and a member of the board of trustees.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothea, and the following children: Mrs. Joseph (Charlene) McGuire of Pella; Mrs. James (Mary) Schleis of Waterloo; Steven and Douglas Musfeldt, both of Kansas City, Mo.; Stanley of Manning, Carol, a student at the State University of Iowa, Iowa City, and eight grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers: Carl Musfeldt of Aspinwall and Don Musfeldt of Bridgewater, N.J., and a sister, Mrs. Harold (Alice) Beck of Manning.

Mr. Musfeldt was preceded in death by his parents.
