Manning – Funeral services for Albert E. (Bert) Moser, 77, of Ames were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 14, at the Adams Funeral Home in Ames with Rev. Harold E. Harryman of First Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in the Ames Municiple Cemetery following Masonic rites at the funeral home.

Mr. Moser died at 12:15 p.m. Nov. 11 at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames following heart surgery a month ago. Son of the late Dr. and Mrs. L. F. Moser of Manning, he was born at Marne on June 6, 1889 and came to Manning as a small child. He graduated from Manning High School.

He came to Ames from Excelsior, Minn., and owned and operated the Moser Leather Goods Store until his retirement last year.

He was a member of First Methodist Church, Elks Lodge, Lions, and was a 50-year Mason. He was a member of Joshua Chapter, 127 RAM, White Shrine; Story County Shrine Club, Ascension Commandery, Gebal Council, Za-Ga-Zig Shrinein 1954; two brothers, Erwin and Ralph Moser; a sister in infancy and two half -brothers.
