Manning- Felix Vogl, 62, of rural Manning, died Tuesday morning at the Manning General Hospital. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Church, Manning. Msgr. Robert Walker will officiate. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning. Rosaries will be recited at 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Wednesday and 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., by the parish, on Thursday.

Mr. Vogl, the son of Anton and Grace (Sturm) Vogl, was born December 23, 1916 near Halbur and attended school there. His marriage to Hilda Kasperbauer took place September 24, 1940. They farmed their entire married life southeast of Manning. Mr. Vogl had been in failing health for some time. Survivors include his wife, Hilda; four sons, David of Carroll, Ron of Manning, Lance Cpl. Pat Vogl of Yuma, Ariz. and Airman Bill Vogl of Andrews A. F. Base, Md.; four daughters, Mrs. Richard (Joanie) Malone of Omaha, Mrs. Jerome (Judy) Muhlbauer of Halbur, Mrs. Wayne (Doris) Sell of Council Bluffs and Marge of Omaha; Anton of Halbur and Ed or Arcadia; three sisters, Sister Juliana Vogl and Sister Juliette Vogl of Dubuque and Mrs. Pete (Loretta) Soyer of Carroll; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Paul and Felix Jr., four brothers and one sister.
