Manning- Eileen L Enenbach, 84, died Monday morning, Dec. 25, 1989, at the Manning Plaza Nursing Home. Mass of the Christian burial was today at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Manning, with the Rev. Ralph Reinhart as celebrant. Burial was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Manning. Casketbearers were Harold Reinke, Ron Hiatt, Bud Stahl, Linus Heithoff, Merlin schroeder and haold Schmidt. The Ohde Funeral Home in Manning was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Enenbach was born July 7, 1905, at Wiota, a daughter of Mark and Anna (Lorenzen) Enenbach. Her father was a school teacher and the family moved to various communities in Iowa before settling in Manning in 1914 where she attended school. As a young woman, she worked for the Manning Creamery Co. For many years, she was a waitress, working at Emil Kuhl's HiWay Cafe and later at Saunders Dteak House. She was a member of Sacred Heart Parish, The Royal Neighbors and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary of which she served as president. Survivors include her son, Phil Enenbach and his wife, Aloha, of Manning; four grandchildren: Mike Enenbach and his wife, Jill, of Manning; Valerie Enenbach of Mount Pleasant; Vincent Enenbach of Manning, and Nicole Enenbach of Sioux City; two great-grandsons; a sister Perdita Bock of Omaha, and a brother, William L. Enenbach of Omaha. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Vivian Hoffmann and Phyllas Curl, and two brothers, Mark and Henry Enenbach.
