Manning - The rite of Christian burial for Albert Handlos of Manning will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 7, 1995, at Sacred Heart Church in Manning with Father Ralph Reinhart officiating. Mr. Handlos, 81, died Tuesday, April 4, 1995, at Manning Plaza nursing home in Manning. Casket bearers will be Willy Hoffman, Elmer Herbers, Gary Bunz, Gerald Handlos, Gary Handlos and John Landa. Honoray casket bearers will be Virgil Rosonke, Lloyd Borkowski, Arlo Dammann, Orren Ramsey, Warren Puck and Orland Fara. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery.Visitation will be after 2:30 p.m. at Ohde Funeral Home in Manning, where a rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. and a prayer service adn rosary will be held at 7:30 p/m. He was born Jan. 29, 1914, on a farm neat templeton, a son of Albert and Maria (Reitmeier) Handlos. He attended school at Dedham. On Sept. 30, 1941, he married Loretta Lechtenberg. They farmed near Manning until 1975 when they moved into Manning. Mr. Handlos entered the Manning Plaza in November 1991. He was a member of Sacred Heart Parish. Survivors include his wife, Loretta of Manning; a son, Larry Handlos, and his wife, Barb, of Manning; three granddaughters; two great-grandsons; and a brother Henry Handlos, and his wife Genevieve, of Manning. Mr. Handlos was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Frank and Edward.
