Sandra Marie "Sandie" Roecker, 59, died Thursday, May 8, 2008, at St. Anthony Regional Hospital at Carroll.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, at Ohde Funeral Home in Manning with the Rev. Mike Warrick officiating.

Casket bearers will be Rick Rowedder, Mark Rowedder, Kirk Roecker, Terry Hunter, Jason Hacker and Penny Lynn Leach.

Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery at Manning.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 tonight at Ohde Funeral Home in Manning.

A daughter of Donald and Joyce (Hunter) Roecker, she was born July 21, 1948, at Fort Dodge, grew up at Denison and Carroll, graduated from Kuemper High School in Carroll then attended college at Sioux City.

She had various jobs over the years. Her first was as a waitress at Pauline's Rest Stop in Carroll. She began working at Carroll Health Center in 2007.

She enjoyed listening to country music, dancing and playing Bingo and was fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes, Iowa State Cyclones, Kansas City Chiefs and NASCAR.

Survivors include a daughter, Kris Warrick, and her husband, Michael, of Omaha, Neb.; a granddaughter, Alyssa Warrick; and her mother, Joyce Roecker of Manning.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Roecker.
