January 12, 1904 - Carroll Sentinel - Ephraim Mavity, well known to Carroll young people, died at his home at Glidden Saturday night, after suffering from a seige of typhoid pneumonia. Ephriam Mavity died at the home of his parents Sunday morning, January 10, at the age of 23, the funeral being held Monday and interment made in Westlawn cemetery.
