Mrs. Anna Brincks

Mrs. Anna Brincks, 73, widow of John B. Brincks, died at 8:06 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony Hospital, where she had been admitted Feb. 19. She had been ill for two months.

Requiem mass will be read by the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Frank H. Greteman at 9:30 a.m. Friday at SS. Peter and Paul's Church. Burial will be in Mt.. Olivet Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Twit Funeral Chapel after 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Rosary recitation will be at 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, with members of the Rosary and Altar Society of SS. Peter and Paul's Church attending in a group Thursday evening.

Mrs. Brincks, the former Anna Reineke, was born Jan . 28, 1885, in Carroll. She attended SS. Peter and Paul's School here. Her parents were John and Mary Spieker Reineke.

She married Mr. Brincks Feb. 26, 1906, at SS. Peter and Paul's Church with the Rev. E.J. Jungblut officiating. The couple farmed two and one-half miles north of Willey for 10 years, then lived on a farm one-fourth mile north of Willey for four years, moving from there to their farm three miles south of Carroll, where they lived until they retired and moved into their new home at 410 East Third Street in November 1954.

Mr. and Mrs. Brincks celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in February, 1956. Mr. Brincks died Dec. 19, 1957.

Mrs. Brincks is survived by six children: Mrs. Lawrence (Mary) Gute, Mrs. Henry (Coletta) Soppe, Mrs. George (Louise) Hoffman, John W. Brincks and Joe H. Brincks, Carroll, and Andrew B. Brincks, Templeton; 22 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Schmtt, Carroll; Mrs. Mary Eltgroth, West Union, Minn., and Mrs. Molly Brincks, Carroll.

Her parents and six brothers, John, Joe, Fred, William, Anton and Matt Reineke, preceded her in death.

Mrs. Brincks was a memebr of SS. Peter and Paul's Church and the Rosary and Altar Society of the parish.
