July 20, 1911 - Carroll Times - At the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kramer, in Denver, Colorado, last Saturday, July 15th, occurred the death of Gertrude Elizabeth Kramer. She had been a sufferer of Brights Disease the last two years. The last seven weeks of her life she was confined to her bed.

The last sad ceremonies over her remains were held at Olinger's Undertaking Parlors Sunday at 1 p.m. and the remains were shipped here for burial, arriving in Carroll Monday forenoon at 10:30 and were laid to rest in the Carroll Cemetery in the Kramer family lot where a sister and a brother also rest, they having died while the family lived yet in this city.

Deceased was well and favorably known here. She was born in this city July 26, 1884. All of her life she lived here, received her education here, and grew to young womanhood here. She possessed a host of friends here who grieve at her untimely demise.

She leaves to mourn her death her parents and sisters, Sadie (now Mrs. Fitzgibbons), Mary, Emma, and Lizzie, and a brother, Albert. Her mother, Mary, Albert and Mrs. Fitzgibbons accompanied the remains from their western home to the last resting place. They returned to Denver yesterday.

The Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kramer family are pioneer residents of this city. They lived here 31 years and only moved to Denver about four years ago. They are well respected people who have a host of old friends and acquaintances here. Mr. Kramer is a carpenter and his hands have assisted in the building of many of our business blocks and residences in Carroll. The sympathy of their many friends are with them in the loss of their beloved daughter.
