June 10, 1971 - Carroll Daily Times - Maude Florence Fritz, 86, of Carroll died at St. Anthony Nursing Home in Carroll June 9 after a long illness. Prior to entering the nursing home she lived at 1126 North Main Street. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Dahn-Wood house Funeral Home in Carroll. The Rev. Andrew Bosman, minister of the United Presbyterian Church of Glidden, will officiate, burial will be in the Carroll City Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.

Miss Fritz, daughter of Michael and Anna Spooner Fritz, was born June 8, 1885, in Pleasant Valley township, Carroll County. For many years she was employed as a clerk at Light Brothers store and then took care of her mother. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and Central Rebekah Lodge No. 191 at Carroll.

Surviving are a niece, Mrs. 0.L. Anderson of Fergus Falls, Minn.; and a nephew, Clarence Fritz of Boone.
