LIMBRECHT, MCCORD, HAGENFELT, LEHMAN

April 10, 1935 - Carroll Daily - Mrs. Nick Limbrecht, 41 years old, died this morning at 7:30 o'clock at her home at 509 East Fifth street, after a lingering illness of 13 months, suffering with cancer and other complications.

Mrs. Limbrecht, the former Miss Eva McCord, was born Sept. 1, 1893, near Defiance, Iowa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex McCord. She was married to Nick Limbrecht in Denison Oct 24, 1912 and they made their home in there until 9 years ago this month, when they moved to Carroll and purchased a home on East Fifth street where they have resided since.

Mrs. Limbrecht underwent an operation last spring in St. Anthony hospital and last summer was taken to the University hospital at Iowa City for treatment and also submitted to another operation. Her mother, Mrs. Alex McCord, has been with her since her that illness.

She is survived by her husband and two children, Maxine and Raymond, both at home. She also leaves her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alex McCord of Denison and four sisters and one brother: (Ethel) Mrs. August Limbrecht, (Ina) Mrs. Andrew Hagenfelt, and Miss Laura McCord, all of Denison, (Myrtle) Mrs. Harry Lehman of Independence, Mo., and Earl McCord of Defiance.

Mrs. August Limbrecht will be unable to attend the funeral due to illness. She is in the University Hospital at Iowa City taking treatment.

Since coming to Carroll Mr. Limbrecht has been engaged in the occupation of painting and interior decorating.
