Jan 17, 1918 - Carroll Times - Charles Murdock passed away at Clarlnda Saturday, January 12, after being in failing health for some time. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Murdock of this city and until his health began to give way was a bright, ambitious man. Since young manhood he was employed by the railroad and until a few months ago was working for the railroad in Canada.

He was born in Brighton, Canada December 8, 1873, and came with his parents to Carroll county and to their present home in 1876. About eight years ago he left for Canada with Mr. and Mrs. L.S. Mitchell and until a few months ago was employed at that place.

Besides his sorrowing parents, he leaves one brother, Dr. Dawson Murdock, a veterinarian in the government employ at Oklahoma City. The funeral will be held at 1:30 this afternoon at the Methodist church.
