April 27, 2006 - Carroll Daily Times - Funeral service for Golda Marie Beidler of Carroll will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 29, 2006, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lidderdale. Mrs. Beidler, 94, died Tuesday, April 25, at Carroll Manor nursing home. The Rev. Carl Noble will officiate the service. Casket bearers will be Mrs. Beidler's grandsons: Eugene Morris, Craig Beidler, Daniel Beidler, Jeff Beidler, Brian Beidler, Gerry Borst, Mike Beidler and Gary Borst. Honorary casket bearers will be Travis Blanchfield, Tommy Borst, Monty Rohrbeck, Lon Dentlinger, John Severson, Chad Schwictenberg and Rick Mosher. Visitation starts at 5 p.m. and a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll. Visitation will resume at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.

A daughter of Charley H. and Mary Jane (Conway) Caywood, she was born July 13, 1911, at her parents home northeast of Glidden and graduated from Glidden High School in 1928. She and William Beidler were married May 21, 1929, at the Little Brown Church at Nashua. The Beidlers farmed in the Carroll area for many years. After the death of her husband, she resided on the farm place a while then moved to Carroll about 10 years ago. Mrs. Beidler was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid in Lidderdale. She enjoyed playing cards, gardening and working with flowers.

Survivors include two daughters: Betty Morris and her husband, Dick, of Panora and Pamela Borst and her special friend, Chris, of Mesa, Ariz.; three sons: William Beidler Jr. and his wife, Colene, of Carroll, Donald Beidler and his wife, Jane, of Carroll, and Dale Beidler and his wife, Linda, of Auburn; 19 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.

Mrs. Beidler was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers: Ray, Lloyd and Roy; and nieces and nephews.
