Sept 5, 1962 - Carroll Daily Times - LAKE CITY — Funeral arrangements are pending at the Huffman Memorial Chapel in Lake City for Fred Kraack, 38, Los Angeles, Calif., a former Lake City resident. He died unexpectedly of a heart attack in Los Angeles Tuesday, Sept. 4. Surviving are his wife, the former Faith LaVonne Lasher one son, Fred Kraack; two sisters, Mrs. John Hennings, Yetter, and Mrs. Sam Cole, Santa Maria, Calif.; four brothers, Melvin Craig, Lake City, and Charles, Verdell and Wayne Kraack, all of Los Angeles.

Sept 6, 1962 - Carroll Daily Times - Funeral services for Fred Kraack, 38, Los Angeles, Calif., formerly of Lake City, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at the Huffman Memorial Chapel, Lake City. The Rev. John Stemple, pastor of Woodlawn Christian Church, will officiate; and burial will be in East Liberty Cemetery near Lidderdale. Military rites will be conducted by the Lake City V.F.W. post. Mr. Kraack died of a heart attack at Los Angeles Tuesday, Sept 4.
