July 15, 1969 - Carroll Daily Times - Mrs. Georgia Wade Schwarzenbach, 77, died Monday night at St. Anthony's hospital, following a brief illness. She was a resident of Carroll for 55 years, coming here in 1914 from Denison. She and her husband, the late Jesse C. Schwarzenbach, owned and operated the Home Laundry and Dry Cleaning Co. until retiring in 1945. Funeral services will be Thursday, 10:30 a.m. at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home, with the Rev. Lewis L. Akin officiating. Burial will be in Carroll City Cemetery. Friends may begin calling after 12 noon Wednesday.

Mrs. Schwarzenbach was born October 20, 1891 at Orttring, Wash,, to James B. and Ala McClellan. She was married to Mr. Schwarzenbach at Denison March 4, 1911. She received her education in Denison schools and attended Denison Normal College. She had been a member for 61 years of the Central Rebekah Lodge, presently serving as chaplain. She was also a member of First Presbyterian Church; O.E.S. Signet Chapter No. 1; and a charter member and past president of the Watanye Club.

Survivors include two daughters, Dallas Raridon of Spirit Lake; Deah West of Glidden; two sons, Kenneth, with whom she was living at the time of her death and Nick; also six brothers and one sister, James McClellan, Canada; Besse Stewart, Fred McClellan and John McClellan, all of Denison; William McClellan, Port Hueme Calif.; Harry McClellan, Omaha; and Lewis McClellan, Chicago; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1963, two children, three sisters, and one brother.
