Jan 25, 1990 - Carroll Times - Ruth McCrary Davis, a Carroll native, died on Jan. 18, 1990, in San Diego, Calif., as a result of cancer. Mrs. Davis was born in Carroll on May 13, 1914, a daughter of J. Brown and Anna (Jacobs) McCrary. She attended Carroll Public Schools, the University of Minnesota, and the Van Sants Business College in Omaha, Neb.

Survivors include two sisters: Marguerite Downey of Des Moines and Ella Bachman of Tempe, Ariz.
