Dec 21, 1893 - Carroll Sentinel - Frank Steigerwalt, a cousin of W.F, died at his home at Scranton Wednesday evening after an illness of two weeks. At first he was taken down with the grippe and it was thought he was getting better but other complications set in and before his friends were aware, proved fatal. The remains will be laid to rest Friday at 10 o'clock a.m. in the cemetery at Scranton.

The deceased was for a number of years a resident of this city being in the employ of Wetherill Bros. Several years ago he moved to Scranton where he has made his home ever since. During his residence at that place he has been one of the leading business men of that city engaged in the hardware business and has made a decided success. Where he was known he was universally admired for his manly qualities and sterling worth. The bereaved wife and children have the sympathy of many friends in this city.
