Dec 21, 1936 - Carroll Daily - Committal services will be held at the graveside in the Carroll cemetery between 3 and 3:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Mary E. Stilwell, formerly of Carroll, who passed away at 12:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at her home in Alta.

Rev. Osborne of Alta, who will officiate at the rites at Alta, will also have charge of the services at the cemetery. Mrs. Stilwell will be buried beside her husband (Ard Stillwell), who was a civil war veteran.

Mrs. Stilwell passed away at the age of 88 after being in ill health for a long time. She had lived in Carroll about 20 years and had resided in Alta for the last 17 years.

Surviving are two daughters Mrs. Mary Wilcox, who had made her home with Mrs. Stilwell for the last three years and cared for her during her long illness and Mrs. Ida Hilliard of Spirit Lake. Mrs. Ward Ellis, another daughter, died in 1925. Ward Ellis of Alta was in Carroll Monday morning making arrangements for the funeral.
