John Meisel died Monday at the home of his son Ben, southwest of the city. The funeral was held this forenoon, the cortege leaving the home about 9:30. Funeral services were held at the Lutheran church at 11 o'clock. The deceased was 69 years of age and was one of the old residents of this county, highly respected by all who knew him. He leaves an aged wife and seven children, two sons and five daughters, to mourn his death. They have the sympathy of their friends in their bereavement.
