"Gregor Reiling Passes Away

"Death Came to Relieve Him After Nine Days of Illness - Was only 17 Years of Age.

The F.A. Reiling home was cast into sadness early on Tuesday morning by the death of their son Gregor, who passed away at 12:15 A.M. after an illness covering a period of about nine days from peritonitis and other complications.

Although his illness was not considered severe at first, members of the family were aware as time grew on that his illness was of such a nature as to make recovery impossible. A trained nurse was in attendance and all that was known in medical skill was applied but without avail.

Gregor Reiling was born March 12, 1902, on the farm east of Breda where he continued to reside until his death. He was a young lad of pleasant disposition and highly respected by his associates. His death while still a lad of tender years will be deeply mourned by his parents, brothers and sisters as well as his associates.

Besides his parents he leaves to mourn his death six brothers and four sisters, who are: Will of near Coon Rapids; Mrs. Ed Underberg of Milford; Mrs. Henry Gehling of Carroll; John of Reliance, South Dakota; Clara, Wendyln, Theodore, Frank and Mary who reside at home, and Anton who is attending St. Coletta's Institute at Jefferson, Wis.

The funeral was held this morning at 9:30 o'clock at the Catholic church in Mt. Carmel and the remains laid to rest in the cemetery at that place."
