Death of Mrs. Bannister.

The many friends of Mrs. Fred Bannister were surprised to learn of the sudden death of that estimable woman Saturday morning at 8 o'clock after a short illness. She was suffering with an attack of mumps and other physical disorders which caused her death.

Deceased was the wife of Mr. Fred Bannister, who resides near Maple River. She was the mother of five children, the youngest of whom is seven months old. These little ones together with the bereaved husband feel keenly the loss of mother and wife and their country home will seem desolate without the warmth and sunshine that only a mother can give. She also leaves several brothers and a sister to cherish her memory.

The funeral took place this afternoon at the M. E. church, Rev. E. C. Be(?) officiating and interment at the city cemetery.
