Mrs. John Beyer Died At Home, Carnarvon

Body Was Brought Here for Interment. Funeral and Burial Will be Monday

Mrs. John Beyer died at her home in Carnarvon Friday, March 14, after a brave but unsuccessful attempt to regain her health. For over a year she had been in a precarious condition and her husband had done all in his power to have her life prolonged. In the summer of 1923 she was taken to Nebraska, there being a chance that the climate would benefit her. A few months afterwards she was taken to Oakdale, Iowa, where she remained in the sanitorium until January 15, when the doctors advised her to return to her home.

Theresia Grace Beyer was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Steininger, of Carroll, and was born in this city in 1882. Her marriage to John Beyer took place in this city January 13, 1902. Ten children were born to this union, namely: Theresia, John J., Louisa, Arthur, Elmer, Bennie, Leona, Margaret, Florence, and Ethel. Besides her children she is survived by her husband, three brothers, and two sisters, Joseph Steininger, Mrs. John Loneman, and Mrs. John Mossman, of Carroll, Frank Steininger of Card, Oklahoma, and William Steininger of Sioux Falls, S. D. She is also survived by Mrs. Lehrkamp of Coon Rapids, an adopted sister.

Funeral services were held Monday morning at the SS. Peter and Paul's church in Carroll, Rev. Fr. Dries officiating.

Burial was made in the Catholic cemetery.
