Mrs. Otto (Bernadine) Behrens, 87, of Carroll died about 2 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, at St. Anthony Nursing Home in Carroll.

Mass of the resurrection will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Friday in Holy Spirit Church. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Arrangements are under direction of the Twit Funeral Home, where friends may call after 2:30 p.m. Thursday. A 3 p.m. prayer service Thursday will be followed by rosary recitations at 3 and 8 p.m.

Mrs. Behrens, daughter of J. and Sophia Sunderman (sic) Klocke, was born Jan. 29, 1887, at Templeton and was educated there. She was a lifelong resident of Carroll County. Her marriage to Otto Henry Behrens took place Feb. 25, 1908 at Sacred Heart Church, Templeton, with the Rev. D. A. Schulte officiating.

She was a member of Holy Spirit Church and Women's Guild at Carroll and the Catholic Daughters of America at Templeton.
Survivors include three sons, Cyril of Manning, Eugene of St. Louis, Mo., and Otis of Gray, a daughter, Mrs. Gilbert (Bernadette) Peters of Manning; 23 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Behrens was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Herbert and Edward; two daughters, Mrs. Francis Clark and Loretta in infancy; four brothers and four sisters.
