Joseph Klocke died at St. Anthony's hospital in Carroll Sunday morning, July 31, after an illness of two weeks' duration. Death was due to appendicitis. Funeral services were held at St. Joseph's church Sunday morning at 8:30 o'clock with Rev. Huelshorst reading the requiem high mass. Interment was made in the Catholic cemetery. Joseph Klocke was born near Dedham February 11, 1897, and lived here continually until the time of his death. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus. He was always numbered with the best and most influential citizens and was popular among the young folks. He leaves to mourn his loss his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Klocke; six brothers, Edward, Clem, Ambrose, Clarence, Alfonso and Benjamin; and four sisters, Teckla, Frances, Gertrude and Hilda.
