Obituary – Mrs. William Peters
Mrs. Wm. Peters of Manson, who passed away July 22 in Mercy hospital at Fort Dodge, was 68 years of age. Mary Daley was born in LaRose, Ill., the child of J. Thomas Daley and Catherine Donnelly Daley. When she was but 12 her mother died, leaving Mary and six younger children. From that time on Mary had the responsibility for the little family. All of the brothers and sisters having passed away and Mrs. Peters was the last of the family circle. On Oct. 10, 1899, she was united in marriage to William Peters at Toluca, Ill. They came to Calhoun County in 1906, settling on a farm southeast of Manson where they have remained for the past thirty years. Besides her husband, she is survived by three cousins, Ed. F., E.
