Obituary
Louis A. Quade was born Oct. 23, 1898, at Knierim, Ia., and died at his home in Knierim Feb. 3, 1940, at the age of 41. He spent his boyhood on a farm near Knierim and attended the Knierum and Fort Dodge, Ia., high schools. He was married Sept. 3, 1925 to Miss Vera Chrisman. Fifteen years ago Mr. Quade entered the employ of the George Auto Company at Knierim and five years later purchased the business, operating it until his death. He was very active in civic affairs. Surviving are his widow, a daughter, Geraldine, and a son, Quentin Lon. Four uncles, C. F. Quade and W. F. Quade of Knierim, H. F. Quade of Fort Dodge, Ia., and F. W.
