Brian Donald Bangert
(February 17, 1959 - September 8, 2011)

Brian Bangert, age 52, of Vancouver, WA, formerly of Pomeroy, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2011 of a massive coronary at his job site in Vancouver, WA. He was born on February 17,1959, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He was the son of Phil and Pat Bangert. Brian grew up on the family farm near Pomeroy and graduated from the Pomeroy Community High School in 1977, amd went to Waldorf College from 1977 to 1979. Brian graduated from Northeast Missouri State in 1981 with a degree in law enforcement. He was currently employed as a crane operator for Younglove Construction Company. Survivors include his his wife: Regina (Gina); step daughters: Sara Red Eagle, Jamie Lynn Sergent and Barbara (Bobbie) Koblack; step-grand-children: Ariana Nicole Williams and Randy Estill Williams; parents: Philip and Patricia Bangert of Blue Eye, MO; brothers: Michael (Julie) Bangert and Bruce (Mona) Bangert; sister: Phyllis (John) Menke and aunts and uncles, many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a son, Benjamin. Dearest Brian, beloved husband, son, brother and friend, you never met anyone who was not a friend and you were always there to lend a hand. Your broad shoulders carried all others woes to ease their pain. You are missed by those who loved you as family and will be eternally in our thoughts and prayers. Rest in Peace.
