Obituary – Mrs. Charles Holtapp
Anna Christina Schultz was born at Bloomington, Ill., Nov. 26, 1874, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Schultz, both of whom preceded her in death. In 1889 the family moved to the vicinity of Pomeroy. On Feb 28, 1894, she was united in marriage to Charles Holtapp at Dillsburgh, Ill. To this union two children, Mrs. Elsie Post and William Holtapp, were born. Mr. and Mrs. Holtapp farmed until 1929, when they moved into town. She died suddenly at her home in Pomeroy, June 8, 1936, at the ate of 61 years, 6 months and 13 days old. Besides her husband, two children and seven grandchildren, she is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Charles Gehrt, Mrs. August Holtorf, and Mrs. George Seehusen, all of Pomeroy, and four brothers, Herman, William and John Schultz, all of Pomeroy, and Martin Schultz of Albany, Ore., and other relatives.
