Charles C. Carmichael
(June 1, 1870 – June 11, 1936)

Obituary
Charles C. Carmichael was born in Poweshiek County, IA., June 1, 1870. He died of a heart attack at his home in Omaha June 11 at the age of 66 years. When a boy his parents moved to Calhoun County where they purchased a farm in Logan Township. He received his early education in the Rockwell City schools, later attending the University of Iowa and completing his course in pharmacy at Highland Park College in Des Moines. He bought the Lohrville drug store in 1899. In 1925 he sold his business and moved to Omaha. There he opened a drug store which he was operating at the time of this death. He was married in 1894 to Miss Lizzie Roberts of Dallas Center. Two children were born, Elmer Carmichael of Omaha and Thelma, who married a Dr. Foley and lives in the west.
