(June 8, 1870 – November 1, 1936)

Obituary – Mrs. G. C. Sims
Eva Walters Sims, daughter of William Wallace and Mary Walters, was born on a farm near Belvidere, Ill., June 8, 1870. She died Nov. 1, 1936 at the age of 66. In 1878 her family moved from Illinois to Rockwell City, where she has lived for 58 years. On Oct. 31, 1901 she was united in marriage to G. Charles Sims. She was a member of the First Methodist Episcopal Church, the Order of Eastern Star, and the L. A. R. Club. She is survived by her husband; one sister, Mrs. Olive Rose of Tulsa, Okla.; two brothers, Odin Walters of Council Bluffs, and Frank Walters of Rockwell City.
