James McNamara
(August 27, 1868 – June 10, 1933)

Obituary
James McNamara was born in Galena, Illinois August 27, 1868. When a boy he attended school in Manson. For more than 20 years he had a barber shop in Mason City, Iowa. About a month ago he was forced to sell his business because of ill health. Mr. McNamara passes away at Mercy hospital in Fort Dodge June 10, 1933. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at the Matt Thiernan home and at St. Thomas Catholic church with requiem mass. Rev. Daley of Fort Dodge officiated. He leaves to mourn his passing, three sisters and one brother. They are Mrs. B. Boland, Mrs. John Lenahan, Mrs. Julia Tiernan and Edward McNamara. Out of town relatives and friends at the funeral were Mrs. B. Boland, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Boland and Dorothy and John, Mrs. Eugene Boland of Watertown, South Dakota; Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Lenahan and family, James and Daisy Newell and Mrs. Mary Knight of Pomeroy; Elizabeth and Frances McNamara of Belmond; Mrs. A. M. Axen and two children, Georalda and Ronald from Cornelia, Iowa; J. F.
