Charles Frederick Green
Services were held Wednesday at Larson Funeral Home in Manson for Charles F. Green, 72, who died Saturday, November 18, 1972, at Mercy Hospital, Fort Dodge, Iowa. Burial was in Greenfield Cemetery at Knierim.
Surviving are the widow, Rose Mary; daughter, Mrs. Norma Ruppert Williams of New Mexico; sons Bill of Fort Dodge, Russell and Cecil of New Mexico, Blair of California, Melvin of Colorado, Dick of Badger; step-sons, John Mills of Washington, Robert Mills of Spencer; step-daughter, Mrs. John Cox of Fort Dodge; a number of grandchildren; brothers, Edward of Ottumwa, William of Rockwell City, Elmer of Gowrie, Fred and Henry of Farnhamville; sisters, Mrs. Bertha Millis of Lake City, Mrs. Hilda Pohl and Mrs. Mary Frotscher of Farnhamville.
Mr. Green was born in Pittsburg, PA. and had lived in Knierm the past 14 years. He had been employed as a carpenter. He married Mrs. Rose Mary Mills in 1953.
