OBITUARY

Mrs. Angus Benner

Edith Irene Crouch was born at Charlotte, Clinton county, Iowa, on April 21, 1865 and passed away at her home near Brewster, Minnesota, on July 31, 1930, at the age of 65 years and 3 months. She was married to Henry Williams on October 18, 1881. He preceded her in death on December 16, 1897. To this union were born three children. One, L. E. Williams of Arnolds Park, Iowa, survives. On October 5, 1921, she was united in marriage to Angus Benner, who survives her. She raised her niece and granddaughter, Mrs E. E. Jones of Rockwell City, and Mrs. Frank Thiner of Brewster, Minnesota. Three brothers of Mrs. Benner survive. They are Will Crouch of Los Angeles, California; Philip Crouch of Fort Dodge and Wesley Crouch of Rockwell City. Mrs. Benner was a charter member of the Rebekah lodge of Rockwell City and a member of the Methodist church of Rockwell City. Funeral services were held in Rockwell City on Saturday of last week.

Crouch, Mrs and Mrs. Harry Crouch, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Crouch, Mrs. Ila Stanek and daughters, and Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Shields of Fort Dodge; Mrs. George McPherson and son of Boone; Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Royalty and daughters of Des Moines; C. B. Gray of Somers; Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Williams and daughters of Arnolds Park and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thiner of Brewster, Minnesota.
