Mrs. Ida Walsh Died Wednesday

82 Year Old Lady Found Dead in Bed

Mrs. Ida Walsh, aged 82, who has been in poor health for the past two months, was found dead in her bed, Wednesday morning, by Miss Margaret Stewart, who had been caring for her. Miss Stewart notified Mrs. Walsh's sister, Mrs. Jessie French, and called a physician, who after examination stated that death one occurred at about 5 a.m. from a heart attack. Mrs. Walsh had been able to be up and about her home every day before her death. Her husband, William Walsh, died very suddenly about fifteen years ago.

She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Shadbolt, pioneers of this community, coming here from Wisconin in 1855.

Mrs. Walsh is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Bert Coon, of Clarksville, Mrs. J.J. Gough, of Rockford, Illinois; Mrs. Arnold Amick of Waterloo, Iowa; two sons, Jerome and Robert, of Nashua; twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; two brothers, Sumner Shadbolt, of Minneapolis, Alboin Shadbolt, of Ionia; and one sister, Mrs. Jessie French of Clarksville, also survive her.

No funeral arrangements had been made at the time of this writing pending the receiving of word from relatives who live at a distance.

(Personal note -- The obituary below comes from a newspaper clipping. Apparently there were a number of errors made in the newspaper write up. In what looks like Beancy Walsh - Coon's handwriting errors are lined out so that I can't make out the original wording and has written corrections made directly on the newspaper clipping. Information between " and " below will be the corrections)
