Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Boylan, Bristow, age 94, were held Monday, March 28 at 1:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Bristow with the rev. Robert Foster officiating. Burial was made in the Allison Cemetery with the Vogel Funeral Home of Dumont in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Boylan passed away at the Allison Manor Nursing Home on Friday, March 25, where she had been a resident for some time. Bertha Boylan was born December 19, 1882 at Allison to Mr. and Mrs. John F. Miller. She married Marian F. Boylan on August 24, 1905 at Bristow. Mr. Boylan preceded her in death in 1955.
She is survived by a son, Lorne Boylan of Des Moines and a brother, John H. Miller of Nora Springs. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and three sisters.
