Isaac Boylan was born in Ohio, May 17, 1822; died at his home east of Bristow, Iowa, Feb. 7, 1907, after an illness of several weeks.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., at the U.B. Church, Bristow, Sunday, Feb. 10, 1907. The deceased leaves one son, Milton, and two daughters, Mrs. F. T. Wells and Mrs. Phil Rheingans of this place. The funeral sermon was preached by Rev. T.G. Breaw and interment was in Oak Hill cemetery.
The deceased had been a resident of this county the past thirty years. Mrs. Boylan preceded him to her last resting place a little over a year ago.
