SHELL ROCK - Patricia Jean Phillips, 58, of Shell Rock, died Wednesday, Feb. 9, at Elizabeth E. Martin Health Center in Western Home Communities in Cedar Falls.

She was born March 11, 1952, in Hampton.

She graduated from Waverly-Shell Rock High School in 1970. She lived and worked in Minnesota, California, Colorado and Iowa. She earned bachelor's degree in psychology from University of Northern Iowa.

Survived by: a son, Timothy "T.J." of Cedar Falls; a daughter, Shana of Cedar Falls; her mother, Adelia "Dee" Escherhausen of Shell Rock; and a sister, Marilyn (Jim) DeWitt of Shell Rock.

Preceded in death by: her father, Richard Wayne Neal; her stepfather, George Escherhausen; and a brother, Gary Neal.

Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Shell Rock United Methodist Church, with burial in Riverside Cemetery, both in Shell Rock. Public visitation for an hour before services Wednesday at the church. Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home, Shell Rock, is in charge of arrangements.
