NEW HARTFORD — Hazle M. Adkins, 75, of Mims, Fla., formerly of New Hartford, died Saturday, Aug. 7, in Titusville, Fla.

She was born Jan. 8, 1935, in New Hartford, daughter of Harlan and Florence Case Ackerson. She married Roger H. Behrens in Cedar Falls, and they later divorced. She then married Don Adkins, and they later divorced.

Ms. Adkins graduated from New Hartford High School and had worked at the Kennedy Space Center, Titusville, Fla.

Survived by: two daughters, Tanya S. Dean of Mims and Tamra K. Davis of Chillicothe, Mo.; three sons, Roger S. (Penny) of Mims, Robin K. (Robin R.) of Grant City, Mo., and Ricky R. (Corina) of Sparta, Ga.; a stepdaughter, Allyson L. Silkwood of Renton, Wash.; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren two great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Harlan Ackerson of Yellville, Ark., Leland Ackerson of Janesville and Rodney Ackerson of New Hartford; and a sister, Brenda Loveless of Hudson.

Memorial services: were Aug. 11 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Titusville.

A local memorial service will be held at a later date.
