Eunice M. Christiansen, 78, of New Hartford, Iowa, died on Sunday, September 30, 2007 at Allen Memorial Hospital.

Eunice was born on March 10, 1929 in New Hartford, Iowa, the daughter of Herman and Wava (Jepperson) Luck. She worked for Rath Packing in Waterloo and then Eunice was united in marriage to Leslie Richard Christiansen on May 7, 1949 in New Hartford, Iowa. Later she worked for Nu-Way service in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Leslie died on November 26, 2004.

During her life Eunice enjoyed genealogy, reading, and drawing. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed the time she spent with her grandkids and great grandkids. She had a strong faith in the Lord.

She is survived by her three sons, David and Daniel Christiansen of New Hartford, Iowa; Jeffrey Christiansen and his wife, Patti of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; two daughters, Susan Brodie of Shell Rock, Iowa and Louise Vance of Clarksville, Iowa; eleven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Jim Luck and his special friend, Dorothy of Waterloo, Iowa; Jack Luck and his wife, Bonnie of New Hartford, Iowa; two sisters, Verna Burchard of Wisconsin and Marion Lindberg and her husband, Marvin of Cedar Falls, Iowa; and one sister in law, Vernice Luck of New Hartford, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leslie, one brother, Dale Luck and a grandson, Michael Brodie.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at 11:00 at the Church of Christ, Clarksville, Iowa.

The family will greet friends an hour before services on Thursday at the church.

Burial of Cremains will be at a later date in Beaver Grove Cemetery, New Hartford, Iowa.

Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home, Waverly is assisting the family.
