Kathy Kothenbeutel, 86, of Bedford, formerly of New Hartford, died Thursday, March 25, at Bedford Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born May 6, 1923, daughter of Carl and Angie Harris. She married Harold Kothenbeutel on Dec. 3, 1960.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Bedford and a 55 year member of Rebekah Lodge.

Survived by: five sons, Carl (Mariella) Blake of Winthrop, Truman (Dr. Sharon) Blake of Alaska, Buz (Eileen) Blake of Waterloo, Augie Blake of Alaska and Jim Kothenbeutel of Bedford; five daughters, Kay Weedman of Cedar Falls, Esther DesJardins of Las Vegas, Pamela (Fred) Garbes of Minnesota, Vicky (Dennis) Emery of Cedar Falls and Cindy Dralle of Winthrop; two brothers, Buzz Harris of Cedar Falls and Troy Harris of Florida; 22 grandchildren; and 41 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: a son, Rollie Blake; a grandson, David Blake; a granddaughter, Kristi Wagner; five sisters; and two brothers.

Services: at a later date, with inurnment in New Hartford at a later date.
