Rena K. Arjes, 90, of Allison, Iowa, passed away February 16, 2010, at the Community Nursing Home in Clarksville, Iowa.

She was born on September 18, 1919, in Allison, Iowa, to Harm and Kate (Henrichs) Arjes.

Rena attended rural Butler County Country Schools. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, embroidery and knitting.

Rena is survived by her brother Kermit Arjes of Parkersburg and sister Marjorie Harms of Allison.

She was preceded in death by her sisters Anna Dralle, Florence Boomgarden and Lavon Wiebke and her brothers Harlan, John and Harm.
