Aredale—Funeral services were here Saturday for Emil Jorges, 62, who died Thursday night after five months’ illness; born Nov. 22, 1884, in Elk River, Minn.; married Eva Hawver at Hampton, Ia. Nov. 7, 1907; has come to Aredale when nine and mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Sears; farmed most of live; left farm in 1943, living in Roswell, N. M. two years before returning here; leaves seven children, La Neil, Fresno, Cal.; Lois Weiss, Charles City; Marguerite Richards, Earla Moorhouse, Phyllis Moorhouse, Lola McKee, and Lowell, all of Aredale, and 11 grandchildren; one son J. B., preceded him in death in World was I, as did a daughter, Glendora.
