She was a devoted christian mother, quiet and gentle in her manner of living, choosing to be helpful to all, courageous in all things and inspired all who came in contact with her. It was as mother this influence was made most manifest, for she transmitted these virtues to her children, taking great comfort in the knowledge that they were amply fitted for the responsibilities of life.
Besides her husband three daughters and two sons survive, Anna Jonson of Cedar Falls, Mrs. C.V.Sherman of Scranton, Iowa, Mrs. P. D. Dillman of Des Moines, P. J. Johnson of Dike, R. O. Johnson of Chicago. She also leaves one sister, Mrs. G. Dineson of Parkersburg, and a brother, Lawrence Jepperson of New Hartford, besides a host of friends to mourn her loss.
